Alright (can you tell that I sort of ran out of time?), the Mighty Lemon Drops.

Not To Be Confused with the Lemonheads.
I never confuse this band with that band, but for some unexplainable reason I often confuse this band with the Teardrop Explodes.

Not quite sure why.

The Lemon Drops came out with “Happy Head” in 1986, which is when I first started listening and liking.

This single hit a few years after that, around the time of the Sound...Say Goodbye To Your Standards album, and the band broke up shortly after that, in 1992.

I almost got the chance to work with Dave Newton in my last Los Angeles based band as he’s been doing some recording and producing and engineering work, but that didn’t happen.

Ah well…
